I know what you're thinking..."Didn't these only come in Silver, or the rather rare White?" That is what we thought too until this came into the shop. This appears as far as we can tell, to be a factory Candy Apple Red Anniversary Stratocaster that is in near mint condition.

With the rarity of the White models, this Candy model would have to be one of the rarest Fenders around, given that it is the only one we have seen in over 20 years of trading guitars.

The finish on both the neck and the body are as near to new as you will find, all the parts are original too, with no tarnishing of the chrome parts at all, and is stock throughout.

Could this be the ultimate 70's Strat to add to the collection? At this price it would have to be at the top of the list as you will struggle to find one in this condition or in such a rare finish for the model.
