Fender Telecaster April 1959 Maple neck. Returned to the Fender factory in the mid 1960's for a Candy Apple Red finish.

Has all the factory job number markings + the Fender "paint stick" that features in neck pockets from 1963 & later. Pots date out to 48th week 1958, neck date 4/59.

When the Tele returned to the Factory it was also fitted with a mid sixties pickguard, bridge & double line Kluson machine heads + Decal.

We a thinking that it may have been an Esquire originally as the "Telecaster" has been added at a later date?
