*** JRG 20th Anniversary Special ***

The National Tricone guitar was born in 1928 and, in the words of the inventor and maker, John Dopyera, the sound 'flowed like a river'. It still flows today with the wonderful guitars from National Reso-Phonic.

The Style 1 had a bell brass body, Nickel plated and polished to a high shine. Inside it has three small aluminium cones, that work like speakers, to produce the flowing sound.

The ebony fingerboard is inlaid with small pearl dots and the neck is mahogany, with a plain headstock. Yes, it is not a fancy model. But you can't hear engraving and fancy inlays.

The Style 1 does have exactly the same sound as the high end models. If high end sound is all you want, you won't find a better guitar.
