Benedetto Bravo 2005 Archtop Blonde

Bob Benedetto is one of the top archtop guitars builders in America. Only problem, few could afford his great creations and there was a long waiting list for those who could. To solve the problem Benedetto started working through the Guild Custom Shop, utilising their capacity, under his supervision, to create some of his best guitars ever which are personally signed by Bob Benedetto to guarantee they are of the highest quality.

One such guitar is the beautiful honey-blonde Bravo, of which we have just one in stock right now. It is a rich and full-sounding archtop, yet is has the thin body that is perfect for a working musician to travel with. It has been described as, "The next generation archtop guitar."

The Bravo features an exceptionally lightweight spruce top and flamed maple back construction. The neck is hand-shaped, flamed maple and the ebony board has gorgeous abalone floral inlay at the 12th fret. The sound comes from a combination of the body and the famous Benedetto A-6 humbucking pickup. The tone is warm and clear. It is just such a fabulous guitar to play, allowing players to express themselves on an instrument of the highest order. In fact, our Chris actually prefers it to the more traditional (and more expensive) Fratello, which is described elsewhere.

There simply is no other guitar that compares to the Benedetto.
