The Duesenberg Double Cat 12 is based on the 12 string guitars played by George Harrison, Roger McGuinn and Pete Townshend in the 1960's. The guitars that reshaped the sound of music with the sparkle and charm only a 12 string can deliver.

The New DDC-12 captures the rich tones of the past, but with technical improvements that make those tones easier to deliver. The neck is wide enough to play without having to fight it. The strings are easier to change. And the guitar holds its tune longer. Our painstaking attention to details has made this one of the finest guitars in our collection.

The art deco style design of headstock, pickguard and metal components gives Duesenberg its own eye-catching look. These design elements are combined with the best possible electric guitar construction values of the 50s: Grand Vintage Alnico pickups, classical Fender scale length plus a Gibson-like fingerboard radius. Most of the vintage-style tailpieces, bridges, tremolos, pickups and controls come with greatly improved details.
