Now here is an alternative to the Gibson Les Paul Junior. The Epiphone Coronet. This is the most desirable version. The double cutaway, solid mahogany body, with the upper horn longer than the bottom horn. This Epiphone has the great looking bat-wing headstock, with all the tuners on one side, like a Fender.

To say this guitar is clean is to make an understatement. The cherry red finish is near perfect, still red and shiny as new and the only way you can tell its old is to look closely and see the faint signs of checking. Like the Les Paul Junior it has a wrap around bridge and a single P 90 pick up. Simple controls for volume and tone only. What else do you need? Oh, also like the LP Junior, it was made in the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo in the '60's. A beautiful little guitar.
