Like the Coronet, below, this Ephiphone Crestwood is in unbelievable condition. The cherry red finish is shiny and new looking, though this one does have one or two small bumps. The rosewood tailpiece still has its Epiphone E logo and, this is amazing, the tremelo arm is still attached and works perfectly.

The bridge is a Gibson tune-o-matic and the pickups are Gibson mini-humbuckers. They give the guitar a very punchy sound, like a single coil but with less noise. The fingerboard is rosewood with the typical 'lozenge' shaped Crestwood inlays. The headstock is the most desirable 'batwing' style and looks almost new.

The controls are typically Gibson (well it was built in the Gibson factory) with the three way pickup selector switch and volume and tone knobs for each pickup. A couple of small bumps on the back keep us from describing this guitar as near mint. But it is a beautiful time machine.
