Fender Electric XII 1966 Olympic White
Detailed Images   Detailed Images
What Electric Twelve String was used on Led Zeppelin's classic Stairway to Heaven? Why would a player use the Fender Electric X11, over say a Rickenbacker, the Gibson ES-335 12 or the Gibson Double neck. Answer is the tuning, neck, range of tones!

Fender was the first company to make an electric twelve having all individual saddles, making the instrument able to adjust the harmonics on each string. The other advantage the Fender Electric X12 had over other makers was the wide fingerboard.

The split tone capability's from the switching are superb. One just needs to plug in and twiddle to get an understanding of the possibilities with the X11.

As the stamp suggests, this guitar is SPECIAL. Factory Olympic White with the Tortoise shell guard really is the icing on the cake.
