Binding was added to the Jazzmaster fretboard in 1965, the year this guitar was made, which would make this an early 1965 model as it does not have the binding. It is however an L Series guitar and is in excellent condition.

Although there are signs of neck wear, the guitar is in fine condition overall, including the headstock decal which is largely in tact. All metal components show minimal sign of rusting, mostly normal tarnishing for a guitar of this age.

Collectors or players will want to take a serious look at this instrument, as it is a fine example of a mid sixties Jazzmaster.
