Leo Fender designed the original Fender Stratocaster to out do all other electric guitars of the time. When first released in 1954, it was a guitar for tomorrow, and after 40 years, it still is.
As far as Fender Stratocaster's go, '58 Strats in Australia do not come much cleaner than this. Yes it has some dents and marks on the body with a bit of fretboard wear, but this is a guitar that has spent most of it's life in the case!
The 1956 Sunburst Stratocaster has a fond place in my heart, having been the second owner of the 'Johnny Wade' Stratocaster, before it passed onto Midnight Oil and beyond. This guitar has seen many more gigs than that guitar and it feels great because of it!

Forget everything you think of seventies Stratocasters, as this one feels like it is straight out of the sixties. It is great to play, it is light weight, and it looks as cool as any sixties Strat!
This is a fairly original Fender Stratocaster from 1979 in a natural finish with the addition of white plastic parts. The original black parts are still with the guitar however.
Price: AU$3,600.00
