Fender Vibroking Creme

In the '50's and early '60's, if guitar players wanted reverb they had to buy a separate reverb unit and plug it into their amp. So the guitar signal went through the reverb unit before it went through the amplifier circuit. Then Fender brought out the blackface amps with reverb and almost eliminated the need for the outboard reverb units. However, there was a difference. On the blackface amps, the guitar signal went through the amp circuit before the reverb. Slightly different sound and today many players who chase authenticity have to get the outboard reverb unit to capture the true sound of the old rock, country and blues players.

Enter the Vibroking. A relatively new Fender amp that is built in small numbers. This amp actually is built so that the guitar signal goes through the onboard reverb before the amp circuit. Hence the Vibroking is used by many great modern players, Jim Weider comes instantly to mind, who love the old sounds.

Aside from that the Vibroking is made in the Fender Custom Shop, puts out 60 watts through an all valve, hand-wired circuit and uses three 10" speakers to deliver that classic Fender tone. A beautiful amp with no compromises.
