The L-5S was introduced in 1973. The first version of the L-5S had two low impedance Large oblong pickups. This 1978 L-5S has the much preferred Gibson Humbucking pickups, which to most collectors & players is the one to own.

Stunning Abalone Rectangle fingerboard inlays on an ebony board background is highlighted by the five multi ply cream binding.

Amazing Flamed maple top, back & neck in a Rare Blonde finish. Only the second Blonde L-5S we have had through Jackson's. The Gold Hardware is in superb condition. The guitar also has the first year addition of the TP-6 fine tuning tail piece.

Very beautiful original rare guitar!
