Here we have an outstanding Les Paul Historic 1959 Reissue from 2000. This is from the second year of Historic Reissues, following the '99 40th Anniversary release.

I have always particularly loved the guitars the Gibson Custom Shop built from 1999-2003. The LPs from this era always had nice tops, great necks and feel. This one is no exception. The rare Tri-Burst finish on this R9 looks really good. It has a very vintage vibe about it.

The guitar is well balanced and light weight and this translates into superb tone when its plugged in.
