Gibson Les Paul Standard 1957 Gold Top Black Parts
The 1958-60 Gibson Les Paul Standards with the flame maple sunburst tops are easily the most sought after vintage guitars on the planet, due to their rarity, beautiful tone and looks, but there is an even rarer guitar, and this is it!
No one knows for sure just how many Gibson Gold Tops with PAF Humbuckers Gibson made with the thought of the very few found "black parts" Gold Tops that this guitar has!
What we do know is that this guitar is every bit the same as the classic standards of the late fifties, with the same superb tone and playability, it even has the stunning flamed maple underneath the gold which shows through in certain light.
The rarity of this guitar is amazing, as too is it's condition, easily one of the cleanest 50's Les Paul Gold Top's we have had with the entire gold top in near perfect condition and just a few buckle marks on the back.
Collectors, if you have been wanting to add a classic late fifties Les Paul Standard to your collection, this is a great opportunity to grab one of the rarest of all.
This Gold Top had disappeared from the Market for some time. It is the very guitar featured in the "Rare Guitar Museum" Book. Also the guitar was featured in "Guitar World" as a centre fold.
One of the rarest pieces in Australia!
