In 1963 Les Paul's endorsement deal with Gibson ran out and the Les Paul Custom became the SG Custom and this is a Gibson Custom Shop recreation of the first year SG Custom.

It features a lightweight mahogany body, three humbucking pickups, an ebony fingerboard with block MOP markers, and and array of tones that will knock your socks off. The only thing it doesn't have is a vibrola tailpiece.

Most old SG's have had their vibrolas replaced with a stop tailpiece like this one. It's a change that gets our approval. And this is a guitar that will get anybody's approval.
