Hamer USA 'Sunburst' 1980 in Black
Detailed Images   Detailed Images
This amazing and rare Hamer carries a load of history! In the guitars own right it has much to offer. When it comes to history, Wow!

When the Angels' van containing all their equipment was stolen in Chicago during a tour with the Kinks and Cheap Trick in 1980, Rick Nielsen heard the news on the radio, piled some guitars into a car and drove 140 kilometres to their aid. (Sydney Morning Herald -- Entertainment).

Rick Brewster cut many a track with this guitar and played extensively live using the Hamer he got from Rick Nielsen.

The Hamer then went to Chris Morrow from two big Aussie bands "The Numbers" (Five Letter Word, Modern Song) and "Maybe Dolls" (Nervous Kid, Propaganda).

Apart from the previous players who've own this particular guitar, the Hamer Sunburst model was also a guitar of choice by maestros such as Andy Summers (The Police), James Honeyman_Scott (The Pretenders) and Martin Barre (Jethro Tull).

It has now found it's way to Jacksons! Hope you get to make it yours!

Steve Jackson
