Heritage - Briton Combo / Black 2x12

Classic English style chime with a touch of American warmth. The Briton is a 30 watt combo with reverb, powered by four cathode-biased EL84 tubes. The combo is equipped with 12" Celestion Blue Alnico speakers.

Control Panel:

Bright Switch: This switch, in conjunction with the treble control allows the player to tune the treble frequencies to better match the type of guitar and pickup position used. The effect of this switch becomes less noticeable at higher volume settings. The up position engages the switch, while the down position bypasses it.

Volume: Controls the overall volume/gain of the amplifier

Treble: Adjusts the amount of high frequencies

Middle: Adjusts the amount of mid frequencies

Bass: Adjusts the amount of low-end frequencies

Dwell: Controls the amount of signal level sent to the reverb pan. At lower settings, there is less reverb depth or decay, while at higher settings the reverb depth and decay increase.

Reverb: Adjusts the amount of the reverb signal

Cut: Reduces high frequencies in the power amp section. This can smooth out and darken the overall tone.

Back Panel:

Fuse: 3 Amp fuse housed within the detachable AC power connector

Speaker jacks: 8 and 16 ohm.

Combo Dimensions and Specs: 2x12 open back, birch ply cabinet. Width: 26.5" x Height: 20"x Depth: 10.5". The combo cab is loaded with 2 Celestion Blue Alnico speakers, wired in series for 16 ohm. The Briton comes standard in black. Please see our vinyl and grille cloth section for custom colors.
