Heritage Freedom Amp Kenny Burrell Model

We are particularly proud to have a model bearing the name of one of the finest guitarists of all times, Kenny Burrell. The amp has one 12" speaker or one 15" speaker along with a pair of 6L6 tubes. The amp includes a 3 knob reverb circuit and produces a warm round tone which allows the player to dial in the perfect sound. Although the Kenny Burrell model is a great jazz amp the voicing of this amp is well suited to other styles of music.

Control Panel:

Volume / Pull Bright: Controls the overall volume/gain of the amplifier. Pulling the volume control makes the amp sound "brighter". The "bright" function, in conjunction with the treble control, allows the player to tune the treble frequencies to better match the type of guitar and pickup position used.

Treble: Adjusts the amount of high frequencies

Middle: Adjusts the amount of mid frequencies

Bass: Adjusts the amount of low-end frequencies

3 KNOB REVERB SECTION

Dwell: Controls the amount of signal level sent to the reverb pan. At lower settings, there is less reverb depth or decay, while at higher settings the reverb depth and decay increase.

Tone: Adjusts the "color" of the reverb signal. The reverb gets darker when you turn the knob counter-clockwise and brighter as you turn it clockwise.

Level: Adjusts the amount of the reverb signal

Presence: Increases the gain of high frequencies in the power amp section

Back Panel:

Fuse: 3 Amp fuse housed within the AC receptacle. There is also an extra fuse inside the AC receptacle.

Bias pot and test points: See biasing instructions

Speaker jacks: 2, 4 and 8 ohm.

Combo Dimensions and Specs:

1x12 open back, pine cabinet. Width: 23.25" x Height: 20"x Depth: 11.25".

1X15 open back, pine cabinet. Width: 23.25" x Height: 23"x Depth: 11.25.

The speaker in the combo cabinet is 8 ohm. If you would like to use a 4 ohm extension speaker cab, please disconnect the internal speaker. If you have an 8 ohm extension speaker cab, you can use the cab and the internal speakers by plugging them both into the 4 ohm speaker jacks.
