This Martin OM-45 Marquis is an Indian rosewood version of the discontinued OM-45 Golden Era. Styled after the 1933 OM-45. OM (000 size) body of select Indian rosewood, Adirondack spruce top with 1/4" scalloped Adirondack braces, linen side reinforcing strips, ivoroid binding, highly colored abalone trim around back, sides and top - including fingerboard extension.

The guitar features abalone rosette, old style 45 back strip, modified V-shape neck, bound ebony fretboard with Golden Era 45-style snowflake inlays and tortoise side dots, tapered and squared bound headstock with C.F. Martin in block letter inlay, fossil ivory nut and long saddle, fossil ivory bridge and endpins with black pearl dots, vintage toner finish, bevelled and polished tortoise pickguard, Waverly gold vintage style gears, inside label signed by C.F.Martin IV, MSP-4100 light strings.

That is a mouthful, but then again this is a very special guitar and no amount of words will go toward describing it in terms of sound, which simply put is superb.

The overall condition is just as good, with only a few very small marks, but it is as close to 'near mint' as it gets. Come in for a play and you too will be dazzled!
