Here is another new creation from the National Company. Realising that some players played 12 string guitars and reasoning that a percentage of those 12 string players would like to do their thing on a National, they created for the first time in history, a 12 string National resonator guitar.

But not just any National guitar. No, this is a Style 3,12 string tricone, National's second fanciest model. The body is nickel-plated brass, hand engraved with the gorgeous Lilly-of-the-Valley design that marks the Style 3.

The slotted headstock is overlaid with grained ivoroid that could have stepped out of the art deco era and the National logo is engraved into this material in blue.

The ebony fingerboard is a riot of triangle and diamond inlays in real pearl shell. This is a guitar that is a feast for more than your aural senses.
