The Paul Reed Smith McCarty model features a wide-fat 22-fret neck, East coast maple top, 1/8th of an inch thicker mahogany back, stop-tail, vintage-style tuners, McCarty Pickups and includes a push/pull coil-tap on the tone control and a 3-way toggle pickup selector.

Like all PRS guitars, it is superbly built and finished, plays amazingly well and feels light and comfortable to wear. The finish of grey/black on the maple cap looks brilliant, and apart from some nickel wear on the pickups and bridge, this is a fine example and a great players guitar.
