Rickenbacker Model 59 Lap Steel c.1939 
Rickenbacker's prewar (1 1/2'' wide) horseshoe-magnet pickup is considered by many players to be the finest pickup ever made for the electric Hawaiian guitar.

This pre-war Model 59 Ricky has this desirable horseshoe-magnet and boy it sounds good.

The model 59 is introduced in late 1937 and is only in production until 1943.
